iQOO has launched the Pad Ultra in China, a gaming-focused mini tablet featuring an 8.8-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, Gadgets360 reports. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite-series processor and packs a 9,020mAh battery, according to the outlet. The tablet includes a built-in active cooling fan. Indiatvnews had earlier reported the tablet was teased with a 9,000mAh battery and a cooling fan capable of 14,000rpm. Gadgets360 and NDTV Profit confirmed the launch on 29 September alongside the iQOO 16 smartphone. Pricing and India availability have not been announced yet.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

Indiatvnews reported the Pad Ultra as a teaser, while Gadgets360 confirmed the launch with slightly different battery capacity (9,020mAh vs 9,000mAh). NDTV Profit treated it as a secondary story within iQOO 16 coverage. GSMArena did not cover the Pad Ultra at all. The coverage shift from rumour to launch is standard, no outlet took a critical or promotional stance. The missing detail is pricing: none of the launch reports included it.
