# ISRO to showcase emerging technologies at ESTIC 2026 in Delhi 2026-10-23T20:11:10+00:00 | Governance | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets ISRO will present its emerging technologies at the Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2026, to be held from October 27 to 29 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Chairman Dr V Narayanan said. The space agency held a curtain-raiser at its Bengaluru headquarters on October 21 for the Space Science and Technologies thematic session of ESTIC 2026, and published details of the programme on October 23. ISRO's dedicated space science session is scheduled for October 29. The conclave will bring together 12 scientific ministries and departments under a whole-of-government approach, according to an official statement. ISRO Chairman Narayanan said the event will focus on integrating scientific and technological efforts to help achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. ## Indian Opinion Analysis NationPath’s preview treats the space science session as a platform for discussion and collaboration, and cautions readers not to assume breakthroughs before official confirmation. Mint’s report leads with ISRO Chairman Narayanan’s own statement that the conclave will advance the Viksit Bharat vision, and devotes most of its length to his biography and the separate semiconductor track. The two outlets cover the same event in different registers: NationPath is restrained and sceptical about outcomes, while Mint is promotional and personality-driven. Neither source reports any mission, contract or scientific announcement, the only concrete watch item both point to is the October 29 space science session. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 1 pro-government, 1 neutral - nationpathindia.com (neutral report) Factual preview with caveat against assuming outcomes - livemint.com (pro government) Promotional framing around Viksit Bharat vision This brief was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
