The crash took place near Jhabiran cut around 9.30 am. Singh was travelling to Ambala after completing a training programme in Mussoorie. The Scorpio’s gunner, Jairam, suffered a hand injury. Three occupants of the Swift Dzire, travelling towards Haridwar, were also injured. Police said one was in critical condition. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination.
