# Jadeja Set to Return for India’s Sri Lanka Test Series

Ravindra Jadeja is set to return to India’s Test side for the Sri Lanka series after missing the one-off Test against Afghanistan. Rediff.com reports that he has scored 326 runs at 65.20 and taken 33 wickets at 23.72 in seven Tests against Sri Lanka. He is also 52 wickets short of 400 in Tests, a mark reached by four Indians. Former India wicketkeeper Deep Dasgupta told NDTV that Jadeja’s experience on spin-friendly pitches will help India and should be passed to younger players. India are fifth in the World Test Championship standings, with four wins and four losses in nine matches and a points percentage of 48.150. Rediff.com also reports that Jadeja scored 764 runs last year, but took 25 wickets at 38.20.
