# Jailer 2 song Ala Bolelo crosses 7 million views 2026-08-22T06:06:26+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet (2 source reports) The first single from Jailer 2, 'Ala Bolelo', has crossed seven million views on YouTube within days of its release. The song features actor-dancer Shamna Kkasim in a traditional Kerala setting, with Rajinikanth appearing briefly. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the track is being compared to 'Kaavaalaa' from the first film. Shamna Kkasim called the opportunity a dream come true, saying she never imagined she would perform with a "superhero" like Rajinikanth. The four-minute lyrical video takes a Kerala-inspired route, with Shamna performing in a kasavu saree. The film, directed by Nelson and produced by Sun Pictures, is scheduled for worldwide release on October 15. Jailer 2 brings back Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan along with an expanded cast that includes SJ Suryah, Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, and cameos from Hrithik Roshan and Vijay Sethupathi. The sequel follows the 2023 blockbuster about a retired jailer protecting his family. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both sources are from Cinema Express and offer straight reporting with no discernible slant, presenting the song's performance data, Shamna's emotional reaction, and the film's logistics without editorialising. The coverage is uniform neutral-report. The key takeaway is that the song's strong early viewership and positive reception signal solid pre-release buzz for Jailer 2, but whether its regional flavour can replicate the pan-Indian reach of 'Kaavaalaa' remains unproven. Watch for the film's advance booking trends closer to October 15. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - cinemaexpress.com (neutral report) Leads with song comparison to Kaavaalaa, then reports facts without slant - cinemaexpress.com (2) (neutral report) Focuses on Shamna's reaction and view count, no editorialising This story was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above.
