# Jed Wallace seeks Blake Lively deposition over legal fees

PR consultant Jed Wallace has filed a court request to depose actress Blake Lively over her bid for USD 800,000 in legal fees from him. Wallace, who worked for Justin Baldoni during his legal battle with Lively, wants to ask whether her sexual harassment allegations against him and his firm were made with malice. Times of India reports that Lively’s legal team has called the request “desperate and meritless”, noting that Wallace already deposed her and his previous case was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. Last month a judge granted Lively’s request for attorney fees but denied punitive damages. Lively and Baldoni settled their dispute out of court earlier this year. Wallace separately sued Lively for defamation in Texas, but the court found it lacked jurisdiction over her and dismissed the case.
