# Jharkhand Job Seekers Form Delegation as Exam Protests Continue

Jharkhand job seekers have formed an 11-member delegation to hold talks with the state government over alleged recruitment exam irregularities. The group includes eight students, two journalists and an advocate. Protesters want the 14th Jharkhand Public Service Commission civil services examination cancelled, an independent probe by the CBI or retired high court judges, and reforms in the JPSC and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission. The Hindustan Times reports that five more people were arrested in the probe, taking the total to 19. Those arrested include four aspirants and a former JPSC chairman’s computer operator. The JPSC has postponed its civil services mains examination. Chief Minister Hemant Soren has invited the protesters for talks and said the government is awaiting the CID’s report.
