# 146 SEBI-approved firms await IPO launches in Q2 FY27

India’s IPO pipeline is set for a busy second quarter of FY2026-27, with 146 companies approved by SEBI awaiting suitable launch windows, according to Axis Capital’s August update. Another 65 firms have filed draft red herring prospectuses and are awaiting regulatory observations. Since March 2025, 33 companies have submitted confidential DRHPs. The queue includes Jio Platforms, NSE, PhonePe, Zepto, Oyo, Cult.Fit, Indian Gas Exchange, Snapdeal parent Acevector and boAt parent Imagine Marketing. Axis Capital said the 407 mainboard IPO companies it tracked saw their combined market value rise 4.89% to Rs 64.59 lakh crore in July. The average return from issue prices stood at 66% by July 31, 2026.
