# J-K Police search 5 districts in terror radicalisation probe

The Jammu and Kashmir Police counter-intelligence wing conducted searches across five districts on Saturday in connection with a terror radicalisation case. Premises in Kupwara, Baramulla, Anantnag, Shopian, and Bandipora were searched under FIR 03/2023 filed at Police Station CIK, Srinagar, officials said. Electronic devices and other material were seized for forensic examination. Separately, a suspect identified as Siraj Nabi Parray, a resident of Archanderhama in Budgam's Magam area, was detained by Counter Intelligence Kashmir for sharing alleged radical content on social media. Officials said he was produced before an Executive Magistrate and remanded to judicial custody until August 17 under proceedings related to the BNSS. CIK has urged the public to report suspicious content and avoid sharing material that glorifies terrorism.
