It said a CBI investigation led to chargesheets against 33 accused, with candidates allegedly paying Rs 20 lakh to Rs 30 lakh for selection. The association also cited the scrapped Finance Accounts Assistant examination, Junior Engineer recruitment disputes and alleged leaks in Fire and Emergency Services recruitment. JKSA said aspirants still await institutional accountability and disclosure of a committee report on the contract awarded to Aptech Limited for a fresh police Sub-Inspector examination. The Ministry of Home Affairs ordered the committee in April 2023, while the issue also came before the Jammu & Kashmir High Court and Ladakh High Court.
