JK Tyre & Industries' consolidated profit after tax fell 73% to Rs 44.09 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026, from Rs 163.35 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations rose slightly to Rs 3,946.24 crore. Operating profit dropped to Rs 267.64 crore from Rs 423.76 crore. Earnings per share fell to Rs 1.55 from Rs 5.74. The company blamed sharply higher raw material costs, which rose about 20% sequentially in Q1. Chairman Raghupati Singhania said the West Asia crisis pushed up petro-based input prices. JK Tyre has raised prices by 10-12% through August and plans another 5-6% hike. It aims for double-digit revenue growth in FY27 and has lined up Rs 4,980 crore investment over three years. Domestic volumes grew 25% year-on-year, while the Mexico unit faced geopolitical disruptions.
