# JMI, NCERT launch faculty development programme on ICT 2026-08-14T13:12:24+00:00 | Governance | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) in collaboration with the Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), NCERT, started a three-day Faculty Development Programme on ICT and emerging technologies from 10 August 2026. Around 100 participants, including pre-service and in-service teachers, postgraduate students and research scholars, are attending the programme, which aims to strengthen technological and pedagogical capacities. The first day included registration through the DIKSHA app and a pre-test to assess existing knowledge.
