Government data tabled in Parliament showed Deendayal Port Authority handled the most cargo at 160.11 million tonnes but earned Rs 3,437 crore. Mumbai Port Authority ranked third in revenue with Rs 3,319 crore. The 12 major ports together earned Rs 26,583 crore, up 7 per cent from FY25. JNPA handled 102 million tonnes of cargo and more than 8 million TEUs during the year. Its revenue rose 11.2 per cent, supported by higher throughput, vessel traffic, terminal capacity and technology-led operations.
