The pact, signed in the presence of Bhutan's Prime Minister, marks JSW Energy's first power generation venture outside India. Under the joint venture, DGPC will hold a 51 per cent stake while JSW Neo Energy, a subsidiary of JSW Energy, will own the remaining 49 per cent.
