# Kamareddy Excise Employee Dies After Falling Ill at Home

Excise department junior assistant Mamidi Anil Kumar, 41, died while undergoing treatment at Kamareddy Government Hospital on Friday. Kumar, who lived in Kalki Nagar, worked at the Domakonda excise station. He reportedly fell seriously ill at home and was taken to the hospital in a 108 ambulance. His mother, Indira, complained to police, expressing suspicion about the death. Devunipalli police registered a case and began an investigation. Kamareddy DSP S. Madhusudan told Deccan Chronicle that the death would be investigated thoroughly. Kumar’s body was kept at the Kamareddy Government Hospital mortuary. He is survived by his wife and three children.
