# Kangana Ranaut hits back at Baba Ramdev over Gen Z remarks 2026-08-20T08:04:10+00:00 | Governance | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 3 independent outlets BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut has hit back at yoga guru Baba Ramdev after he criticised her recent remarks about young protesters. On Instagram, Kangana told Ramdev not to 'daydream about my jawani' and referenced his 2024 Supreme Court case over Patanjali's misleading advertisements, saying she had never been rebuked by the court for fraud. The clash began when Kangana called certain protesters at Delhi's Jantar Mantar 'generation gutter'. She later clarified she was referring only to those who call themselves 'Cockroach Janata Party', not all youth. Ramdev questioned her past, prompting her sharp retort. ## Indian Opinion Analysis The Times of India and Rediff both present the exchange as a personal spat, emphasising Kangana's dramatic Instagram reply and her dig at Ramdev's Supreme Court case. Neither outlet offers substantive commentary on the underlying issue of youth protest. The coverage is uniform straight reporting focused on celebrity conflict. A careful reader should note that both outlets frame the story around personality rather than policy, leaving the NEET-UG protest context underplayed. What to watch: whether either public figure escalates the exchange further. ## Coverage Coverage: 3 sources, 3 neutral - timesofindia.indiatimes.com (neutral report) Straight news agency-style reporting with no discernible slant - rediff.com (neutral report) Straight news agency-style reporting with no discernible slant - hindustantimes.com (neutral report) Straight news agency-style reporting on separate Vande Mataram issue This story was synthesised by AI from the 3 sources linked above.
