BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut faces an FIR in an Agra court for calling Gen Z protesters a 'gutter generation' during the NEET-UG paper leak demonstrations at Jantar Mantar. Advocate Ramashankar Sharma, president of the Rajiv Gandhi Bar Association, filed the suit, accusing her of insulting students and their parents. The hearing is set for August 21. In a separate Instagram post, Ranaut defended her remark, claiming only 2,000 of the 10,000 protesters were Gen Z and that the rest were 'Shabana Azmi-type people'. She insisted her comments targeted only the crowd at the protest, not the entire youth.
