# Kanikka Kapur calls Preity Zinta her childhood crush

Kanikka Kapur, who plays a key role in the film *Batwara 1947* releasing tomorrow, has recalled meeting her childhood crush Preity Zinta on set. In an interview with NDTV, she said she grew up watching Zinta's films and was completely in awe when she first saw her. She described Zinta as warm, goofy, and full of energy. Kapur also shared a memorable moment from her final screen test. After a crying scene, she heard clapping and saw Zinta standing and applauding. Zinta later hugged her and said she was convincing. Kapur said she will always cherish that moment. She also spoke about the physically demanding chase sequence she shot all night to impress director Rajkumar Santoshi.
