# Kareena Kapoor Khan laughs off pregnancy rumours with pizza emoji post 2026-08-22T20:11:27+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets Kareena Kapoor Khan has broken her silence on the pregnancy speculation that emerged after a video of her leaving a Mumbai gym went viral on August 21. The actress shared an Instagram Story showing a man with a bloated stomach, accompanied by laughing and pizza emojis, suggesting a 'food baby' rather than a baby bump. She also made her first public appearance since the rumours, wearing a yellow shirt and black trousers, and was heard joking to photographers: 'Pagal kar dete ho tumlog.' The Times of India reports that Kareena's sister-in-law Saba Pataudi had earlier dismissed the claims, writing on social media that a bad angle had been misinterpreted. Odisha TV adds that Kareena had previously told Vogue she does not want more children, noting that husband Saif Ali Khan already has four. The couple have two sons, Taimur and Jehangir. Kareena's next film Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar, is set for release on September 18. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both sources treat the pregnancy rumour as a lighthearted celebrity story with no controversy. The Times of India leads with Kareena's humorous response and the song reference, while Odisha TV adds more context about her past comments on not wanting more children. Neither outlet challenges the family's denial or seeks independent confirmation. The coverage is uniform straight reporting: the story is the denial itself, delivered with humour. The next concrete date is the film release on September 18, which may shift attention away from personal speculation. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - timesofindia.indiatimes.com (neutral report) Reports Kareena's humorous denial and Saba's statement without editorialising, adds film release detail - odishatv.in (neutral report) Reports denial with added context of Kareena's previous interview, no sensationalism This story was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above.
