# Kareena Kapoor relieved Koffee With Karan ending, Saif ‘miscast’ 2026-11-02T14:18:45+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 5 independent outlets Kareena Kapoor Khan has told Karan Johar she is ‘quite happy and relieved’ that Koffee With Karan is ending, as seen in a promo released Monday (2 November) for the couple's episode on the ninth and final season. Saif Ali Khan, appearing with Kareena, said he feels ‘slightly miscast’ for the chat show. The episode streams Wednesday (4 November) at 7 PM on Peacock Hub and JioHotstar. In the promo, Kareena declared herself Bollywood’s number one female star, while Saif cracked a Uranus colour joke that left her puzzled. He also hit a buzzer to finish Karan’s sentence ‘Nepo babies go mainstream globally…’ with ‘Because of you,’ a pointed remark directed at the host. The couple last appeared together on the show in 2010, when they were dating, they married in 2012. Previous season guests include Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, and Vijay Deverakonda. Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly in talks to close the season, though no official confirmation exists. Update, 2 November 2026: Sources now give the date Wednesday (4 November) for the episode, and Indianexpress.com and News9Live.com report the stream is on JioHotstar. Indianexpress.com adds detail of Saif's nepo-baby barb, and Hindustan Times includes a Uranus colour joke. All five outlets confirm the promo released Monday (2 November). ## Indian Opinion Analysis All five outlets lead the promo with Kareena's relief that the show is ending and Saif's 'miscast' comment, framing the couple's candour as humour, not hostility. Indianexpress.com and News9Live.com give more detail to Saif's barb about nepo babies going global 'because of you', a pointed remark directed at Karan Johar that the other outlets either omit or relegate to a quick mention. This silence spares Karan the spotlight of a criticism that sources that included it highlight. Timesnownews.com leads with the broad guest list, NDTV with a single sentence, and Hindustan Times with the Uranus joke, illustrating how each outlet picks a different moment to headline. Across all sources, the coverage remains neutral in stance and uniformly promotional of the episode, which streams Wednesday (4 November) at 7 PM on Peacock Hub and JioHotstar. ## Coverage Coverage: 5 sources, 5 neutral - timesnownews.com (neutral report) Leads with guest list and Kareena's relief, omits nepo-baby barb - hindustantimes.com (neutral report) Full coverage, includes Uranus joke and nepo-baby remark - indianexpress.com (neutral report) Details nepo-baby barb, frames Saif as not a natural fit - ndtv.com (neutral report) Very short, only Kareena calling herself No.1 actor - news9live.com (neutral report) Similar to Hindustan Times, includes nepo-baby remark This brief was synthesised by AI from the 5 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
