Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor shared a hug and an air kiss during the IIFA press conference on Thursday, 22 October 2026 in Mumbai. Orissa Post reports that the Jab We Met co-stars exchanged pleasantries before going their separate ways. The Times of India adds that Kareena wore a black leather top and skirt, while Shahid wore a white suit. The reunion has triggered fan nostalgia, with many calling them Geet and Aditya from their hit film. Last year, a similar conversation between them at an IIFA event also went viral. Separately, Shahid's wife Mira Rajput recently appeared on Kareena's show What Women Want, and they shared warm social media exchanges. The 27th IIFA Weekend & Awards is scheduled for 22 and 23 January 2027 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Varun Dhawan and Ananya Panday will host the ceremony, and Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are expected to perform.
