Relatives have accused his wife, Suma Manjari, and her alleged partner, Pundalik Dombar, of poisoning him through a glucose drip to claim an insurance payout of about Rs 2 crore. The allegations gained attention after a selfie video in which Dombar allegedly spoke about the insurance policy and plans for a new life. Police collected samples and sent them to the forensic science laboratory. A case has been registered at Yamakanmaradi police station, and the investigation is continuing.
