K-pop influenced girl group KATSEYE premieres its concert film 'KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS' in theatres worldwide on Wednesday, chronicling its formation from Netflix's 2023 competition 'The Debut: Dream Academy'. The Los Angeles-based group, formed by Hybe and Geffen, releases its 'Wild' EP on August 14 and begins its 'WILD WORLD TOUR' on September 1. Four members, Daniela Avanzini, Indian American Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeung, are actively promoting. Two members are on hiatus: Manon Bannerman since February, and Sophia Laforteza since August 7 for mental health reasons. Hybe and Geffen say Sophia's condition will be reassessed in September. Lara Raj co-wrote and co-produced the new song 'Unloveu'.
