# Kattalan begins ManoramaMAX run with Tamil and Kannada dubs

Antony Varghese-starrer Kattalan is streaming on ManoramaMAX with Tamil and Kannada dubbed versions, marking the platform’s first release with its own dubs, Cinema Express reports. Directed by debutant Paul George, the Malayalam action film follows rival gangs involved in ivory smuggling and stars Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Dushara Vijayan and Jagadish. The film released in theatres on May 28 and began streaming on August 13, according to Onmanorama. Made on a reported budget of around Rs 50 crore, Kattalan earned about Rs 10 crore in theatres, according to Sacnilk figures cited by Cinema Express. ManoramaMAX is hoping its multilingual OTT release reaches a wider audience.
