Actor Kavin, who stars opposite Nayanthara in the upcoming romantic entertainer Hi, has responded to a viral comment about their pairing. Speaking at the film's trailer launch, the Mask actor recalled reading a remark that said he would never have imagined working with Nayanthara given his television background. Kavin said that when Nayanthara's 2008 film Yaaradi Nee Mohini released in Trichy, he and 22 others went to watch it, and 10 did not have tickets. He laughed that the younger version of himself never dreamed of acting alongside her, calling it 'beyond my bucket list'. He added he was grateful to God for the opportunity. Kavin, who began in serials like Kana Kaanum Kaalangal and gained fame via Bigg Boss Tamil season 3, makes his lead debut in the film produced by Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan under Rowdy Pictures.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

Kavin’s journey from television to the big screen mirrors a broader shift in Tamil cinema, where reality-TV fame has become a viable launchpad for film careers. His recollection of watching Nayanthara’s 2008 hit Yaaradi Nee Mohini as a fan in Trichy underscores the emotional weight of this professional milestone. The actor now has a multi-starrer with a cast that includes veteran names, signalling his rising stock. Hi is yet to get a release date, the next signal will be the official announcement, likely after the trailer generated buzz.
