Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) has signed a pact with GoodWorks Group to attract Rs 5,000 crore in fresh investment for 50 new global capability centres (GCCs) in the state. The initiative aims to create over 62,500 direct and indirect jobs and generate Rs 2,250 crore in annual salaries. The partnership will organise sector-focused roundtables, business delegations, and GCC research reports to promote Karnataka in North America, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and the Middle East. GoodWorks Group says the collaboration could also drive demand for 1.25 million sq ft of commercial real estate.
