Vishnunadh has said the activities of the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy will be popularised more. He visited the academy on Saturday and announced that a new exhibition hall on the second floor of its building would be named after director and former chairman Shaji N. Karun. The minister said entries for the International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala were being selected, and the International Film Festival of Kerala will be held in Thiruvananthapuram from December 11 to 18. A jury for the 2025 State Film Awards will be formed soon. The government is considering presenting the State Television Awards for 2024 and 2025 in a single function. Land acquisition for the J.C.
