The State is seeking about Rs 450 crore in Central assistance, with around 30,000 people expected to benefit. Total assistance remains Rs 4 lakh per house. The Union government will provide Rs 1.5 lakh and Kerala Rs 1 lakh, while the municipality and beneficiary will share the remaining Rs 1.5 lakh. The government has also agreed to display the PMAY logo on completed houses, ending Kerala’s earlier opposition to the requirement. The News Minute reports Chief Minister V.D.
