# Kichcha Sudeep, Priya mark 25th wedding anniversary at home 2026-10-19T14:07:00+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep and his wife Priya celebrated 25 years of marriage with an intimate ceremony at their Bengaluru residence on Sunday, 18 October 2026. The couple married on 18 October 2001 after meeting in Bengaluru in 2000. A video widely shared on social media shows the couple exchanging garlands, with Priya asking Sudeep to garland her first. The Times of India and Kalinga TV both report that Sudeep wore a beige silk shirt with a brown silk dhoti, while Priya wore a coffee-brown silk saree with a gold border and a gajra in her hair. Kalinga TV notes former India cricketer Venkatesh Prasad attended with his family. Sudeep had filed for divorce in 2015 but the couple reconciled in 2017. Their daughter Saanvi was born in 2004. Sudeep turned 53 on 2 September 2026. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both outlets give essentially uniform straight coverage of the anniversary, focusing on the ceremony, the couple's outfits and the social media reaction. Kalinga TV adds the detail of Venkatesh Prasad's presence, while Times of India includes Sudeep's work update. Neither outlet frames the story politically, the reporting is purely celebrity lifestyle. The reconciliation after the 2015 divorce is noted by both in identical terms. The coverage leaves no analytical gap, the only open point is the release of Sudeep's upcoming period film 'Devaraaya', announced on his birthday in September 2026. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - timesofindia.indiatimes.com (neutral report) Straight celebrity coverage with work update - kalingatv.com (neutral report) Straight celebrity coverage with guest detail This brief was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
