Corroboration: 2 independent outlets

Industry buzz and an exclusive report from Pinkvilla indicate that the makers of King 100, starring Akkineni Nagarjuna, plan to unveil the first glimpse of actress Tabu on the occasion of Dussehra 2026. The film marks Nagarjuna's landmark 100th film as a lead actor and is directed by Ra Karthik. Pinkvilla reports, citing an insider, that the glimpse will present Tabu in a powerful avatar, with speculation she may play the antagonist. m9.news reports the makers have not officially confirmed the release, and fans await an announcement. The film is slated for release on 24 December 2026.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

The two reports align on the core fact: a Tabu glimpse is planned for Dussehra 2026. Pinkvilla frames this as exclusive insider news, confidently reporting the glimpse and Tabu's possible role as the antagonist, while m9.news hedges with industry buzz and explicitly notes the lack of official confirmation. Pinkvilla adds release and cast details absent from m9.news, such as the 24 December theatre date and the father-daughter plot. The difference is one of certainty: Pinkvilla treats the plan as a done deal, m9.news as unconfirmed rumour. A balanced reading treats the glimpse as a strong likelihood but waits for an official announcement, which neither outlet reports as imminent.
