# King100 title glimpse to release on Nagarjuna’s birthday 2026-08-26T17:17:03+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 4 independent outlets Nagarjuna Akkineni's landmark 100th film, King100, will get its first official update on August 29, the actor's birthday, when the makers release a title glimpse. The project is directed by Tamil filmmaker Ra Karthik in his Telugu debut and produced by Annapurna Studios. Tabu reunites with Nagarjuna after nearly three decades, while Aishwarya Rajesh, Sushmita Bhat and Upendra are also part of the cast. The makers have kept the story and technical details under wraps so far, with no first look or title released. The glimpse is expected to reveal the film's title, Nagarjuna's look and the basic concept. Tracktollywood.com notes the Akkineni family's recent success with Naga Chaitanya's Thandel and Akhil's Lenin. 123telugu.com reports the film may target a December 2026 release, which the glimpse could confirm. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Coverage across outlets is uniformly promotional, reporting the title glimpse as a fan event and celebrating the Nagarjuna-Tabu reunion. Tracktollywood.com adds context by noting the family's recent box office wins, framing King100 as an extension of that momentum. 123telugu.com alone includes a potential release date, adding a concrete news element the others omit. No outlet questions the project's progress or budget. The absence of critical angles means the coverage functions as publicity. The title glimpse on August 29 will confirm the release window and set expectations. ## Coverage Coverage: 4 sources, 3 neutral, 1 sensationalist - greatandhra.com (neutral report) Straight update on title glimpse timing and cast - m9.news (sensationalist) Emphasises fan curiosity and memorable celebrations - tracktollywood.com (neutral report) Adds family context and cast reunion details - 123telugu.com (neutral report) Includes unconfirmed December 2026 release report This brief was synthesised by AI from the 4 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
