Captain Machchhar was injured after an altercation with the co-pilot on Flydubai Flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv, but managed to unlock the cockpit door before the aircraft landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. He has been shifted to the UAE for treatment and is reported to be stable and recovering. ## Indian Opinion Analysis ABP Live and Deccan Herald both report BJP leaders questioning the Gandhi family's silence on Captain Smit Machchhar, with identical quotes from G Kishan Reddy.
