# KRN Heat Exchanger shares hit upper circuit after Q1 profit jumps 165%

Shares of KRN Heat Exchanger and Refrigeration hit a 5% upper circuit at Rs 1,398.80 on the BSE on Thursday after the company reported a 164.8% year-on-year jump in net profit for the June quarter. Revenue from operations more than doubled to Rs 252.32 crore from Rs 115.28 crore a year ago, driven by strong demand in both domestic and export markets. Domestic revenue rose 107% to Rs 199.94 crore, while overseas revenue nearly tripled to Rs 52.38 crore. The United States was the largest export market, contributing Rs 17.07 crore. The company fully utilised IPO proceeds of Rs 311.12 crore for its subsidiary's new facility in Neemrana. It also completed a QIP in June 2026, raising Rs 341.79 crore, of which Rs 30 crore was used for debt repayment and Rs 235.26 crore invested in the subsidiary for working capital.
