# KTR seeks CAG probe into Hyderabad PM Ekta Mall tender

BRS working president KT Rama Rao has demanded a CAG probe into the Rs 2,059.81 crore PM Ekta Mall project in Hyderabad, alleging a massive scam. In a letter to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, KTR said the tender disproportionately benefits a private developer consortium led by Vamsiram Builders, despite the project using prime public land and Rs 202 crore in central assistance. KTR flagged that the government's minimum share is only around 9 lakh sq ft while the developer gets at least 18 lakh sq ft. He also questioned the routing of an interest-free Rs 200 crore loan through Telangana Trade Promotion Corporation to the developer.
