The New Indian Express reports that Ghanashyam Sahu entered through a narrow opening to remove centering materials and began suffocating. Pramod Jena entered to rescue him, but also became trapped. Locals pulled both men out and took them to Mahanga Community Health Centre. Doctors declared Jena dead, while Sahu was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital.
