Ladakh welcomed over 3.30 lakh tourists between January and July 2026, nearly matching the 3.35 lakh recorded for the whole of 2025, according to the Union Territory administration. The peak summer months drove the boom, with May recording 121% year-on-year growth and June and July each crossing one lakh visitors. The Kashmir route remained more popular than Manali, accounting for 35% of arrivals by road.
