# Latest MH370 Search Ends Without Finding Aircraft

Malaysia’s latest search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 ended on 23 January without finding the aircraft, its passengers or its flight recorders, the transport ministry said. Ocean Infinity covered about 15,000 square kilometres from December. The plane disappeared on 8 March 2014 while travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people aboard. Relatives of Chinese passengers thanked Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for restarting the search. They criticised the lack of briefings after 15 January and limited psychological support. They plan to meet China’s foreign ministry and submit their letter to Malaysia’s embassy in Beijing. The aircraft’s fate remains unknown.
