He jumped from the 13th floor of his apartment building. His family alleges that he was threatened by a woman he had been in a relationship with during his studies in Bengaluru and her sister. The two women had reportedly been threatening to file a false police complaint against him. The Kherwadi police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against the two Bengaluru-based sisters, based on the victim’s mother’s complaint. The police said that while Sanath’s mother was speaking to a friend, the friend received an audio message from Sanath saying he was taking his own life due to the harassment. Sanath was declared dead at Sion Hospital.
