Investigators are checking whether communications link Kumar with suspended junior engineer Dinesh Kumar Verma and supervisor Chandra Prakash, who were arrested with him on August 1 while allegedly accepting the first instalment of a Rs 15 lakh demand. The Vigilance team has also obtained details of the top 50 frequent complainants who reported alleged illegal constructions through the IGRS and other platforms. It is examining whether some complaints were used to pressure property owners through intermediaries.
