# Asha Bhosle’s final recording photo surfaces as Leslee Lewis recalls her

An unseen photograph from Asha Bhosle’s final recording session with AR Rahman has surfaced online. Nazeef Mohammed, creative head of BTos Productions, shared the image on Instagram, showing Rahman beside the veteran singer in a studio. He said the session was for an upcoming project titled Asha Forever and recalled that Bhosle mentioned recording for Rangeela on the same day and month three decades earlier. Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter Zanai Bhosle responded to the post, while fans shared tributes. The complete song has not yet been released. Music composer Leslee Lewis has also recalled working with Bhosle on songs including the 1990s chartbuster Raat Shabnami. Speaking to IANS, he said she would record only when she felt ready and remembered her publicly crediting him after an award win. Lewis said that encouragement gave him confidence as a young independent producer.
