CCTV footage, accessed by ABPLive, shows him performing ablution before climbing the stairs to the prayer hall, where he suddenly fell. Other LeT cadres attempted CPR but could not revive him. He was declared dead at a hospital. Qari Saeed headed the LeT’s Shoaba-e-Warasa-e-Shuhada department for South Punjab, responsible for delivering monthly pensions to families of terrorists killed in India, ABPLive reports. India TV reports he had eaten at an undisclosed location before arriving at the mosque. The cause of death is not yet clear.
