Corroboration: 3 independent outlets

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj on 12 October posted an Instagram photo of himself in story discussions with Allu Arjun, dismissing social-media rumours that their upcoming film had been shelved. The caption said interesting updates would come soon. Reports on 12 October had claimed the actor was unsatisfied with the script for the second half and had asked for changes, leading to speculation the project was off. M9.news highlighted that the actor did not want to start shooting without a fully bound script, though no official confirmation of creative delays exists. 123telugu.com and thehansindia.com each reported the same Instagram post as the definitive denial, with the director also tagging Mythri Movie Makers as the banner backing the project. Allu Arjun is currently filming Atlee’s Raaka, due in theatres on 5 December 2027. The actor is expected to join Kanagaraj’s project once his portions for Raaka are wrapped, pending VFX work on that film.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

M9.news leads with unresolved ‘script dissatisfaction’ rumours, presenting them as an open question after the shelving denial, framing speculation as the story itself. 123telugu.com and thehansindia.com both report the same Instagram denial by Lokesh Kanagaraj as the decisive update, cutting off the rumour cycle. The uniform core is a confirmed denial confirmed in a single post. The split is not on fact but on emphasis: one outlet keeps the rumour drama alive as a narrative, while the two others close it with the director’s own words. The balanced reading is that the same Instagram post settles the survival of the project, creative discussions are unconfirmed because neither side has detailed the script status.
