The FDA said manufacturer names and batch numbers on some kits had been erased or covered. In Solapur, officials seized 26 kits allegedly sold through IndiaMART. Cases have been registered against eight people, including a doctor and an IndiaMART operator or director, under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the NDPS Act.
