# Maharashtra speaker seeks Shivaji slogans at Mumbai’s CSMT

Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar has asked Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to add ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Ki Jai’ and ‘Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji’ to announcements on every train arriving at or leaving Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT). In his letter, Narwekar called CSMT a symbol of Shivaji Maharaj’s ideals of courage, Swarajya and patriotism. He said the slogans would introduce younger passengers to his legacy through the railway network. Narwekar expressed confidence the Union minister would consider the proposal and issue necessary directions.
