The man, a resident of Rajajinagar, told police he slipped accidentally while boarding a train around 4 pm. A BMRCL official, however, suggested he had tried to jump onto the tracks, noting that no train was entering or leaving the platform at the time. Train operations were not disrupted, the official added.
