Prime Minister Narendra Modi used “mere pyare deshwasiyon” nearly 40 times in his 13th Independence Day speech from Delhi’s Red Fort on Saturday, PTI reported. “Sathiyon” appeared 10 times. He also referred once each to “mere pyare yuva”, “desh sevak” and “bhai beheno”. Hindustan Times reported that youth-related references numbered roughly 50 during the 75-minute address. The speech included announcements of free online coaching for competitive exams, AI training for one crore youth over the next year and a nationwide sports talent hunt for children aged five to 15. Modi also called for a 100-day Nasha Mukt Yuva Abhiyan, modernised civil defence systems and a 100 GW nuclear power target by 2047. In earlier speeches, “deshwasiyon” appeared about 50 times in 2025 and “parivaarjan” led in 2023.
