# MHT CET 2027 notification released, key dates still awaited 2026-10-30T00:47:14+00:00 | Governance | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has released the MHT CET 2027 notification on cetcell.mahacet.org, but key dates for registration, exams, and counselling remain unannounced. The notification provides highlights including the online application mode, computer-based test format, and subject groups PCM and PCB. The exam is likely to be held in two sessions after Class 12 board exams, tentatively in March and May 2027. Candidates can download the notification PDF to check eligibility criteria and syllabus details. The application process will require registration, identity verification, and fee payment online. The CET Cell is expected to publish the full schedule, including application start and last dates, admit card release, answer key, result, and counselling timeline, on the official website. Students are advised to monitor cetcell.mahacet.org for updates. ## Indian Opinion Analysis The absence of confirmed dates means over two lakh engineering aspirants in Maharashtra cannot begin structured preparation. The notification release in late October 2026 offers no registration window or fee structure, leaving candidates dependent on periodic website checks. The CET Cell has not clarified whether a single application window or multiple phases will be used. Until the official schedule is published, students must work from the tentatively expected March and May 2027 exam slots, a wide range that complicates revision planning. The unresolved detail of exam centres and city intimation slips adds further uncertainty for rural applicants. ## Coverage - careers360.com Report leads with expected dates not confirmed, neutral factual listing This brief was synthesised by AI from the source linked above.
