Sri Kanteerava Studios Limited chairperson Mahaboob Pasha inspected a site at Tyajavalli in Shivamogga taluk on Friday for a proposed branch of the studio and a mini film city. A joint inspection of land bearing survey numbers 60 and 27 was conducted with revenue officials, who deemed the site completely suitable. The project requires a minimum of 25 acres. If more land is available, a mini film city will be developed alongside the studio. Pasha said the project is expected to create employment opportunities for local artists and technicians. Next steps have been initiated, Deccan Herald reports.
