She never returned. Two jet-skiers reported speaking with her far offshore around 5:30 pm. She told them 'I'm a good swimmer' and gave a thumbs up. Her husband, however, says she was not a strong swimmer and always used a flotation device. He believes drowning is the most likely scenario but says many aspects remain unexplained. Her friend reported her missing at 5:50 pm that day.
