The lab houses a High-Performance Computing facility that can support 30 computing workloads simultaneously and will enable cutting-edge research in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, cybersecurity, and healthcare. Beyond research, the lab will act as a bridge between academia and industry, hosting hackathons, internships, and startup incubation. Through IBM SkillsBuild, MIT will offer AI awareness workshops and immersive bootcamps.
